Day 2
Tbilisi City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 AM, start the tour from the Holy Trinity Cathedral, commonly known as Sameba Cathedral. Built in 2004, Sameba is the tallest church in Georgia, standing at 101 meters. Then, proceed to the old city, starting with the famous area called Abanotubani (area of the baths), where we will visit several landmarks: Abanotubani – the ancient district of Tbilisi known for its sulfur baths; Leghvtakhevi Waterfall – a 22-meter tall waterfall, with the name "Leghvtakhevi" derived from the Georgian word "Leghvi," meaning fig; Narikala Fortress – visible from many parts of Tbilisi, offering stunning views of the city and accessible by cable car; Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) – a 20-meter aluminum statue symbolizing the city.

Next, continue exploring the city across the river: Metekhi – a historical neighborhood located on an elevated cliff overlooking the Mtkvari River; Rike Park – one of the newest parks in central Tbilisi, leading to the famous Bridge of Peace, a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge made of steel and glass, illuminated by numerous LEDs, spanning the Kura River.

After enjoying and photographing the Old Town area, drive to Mtatsminda Park. Mtatsminda Park is an amusement park situated atop Mount Mtatsminda at 770 meters, overlooking Tbilisi. It is the highest point in the city and spans over 100 hectares. With a history of more than 100 years, Mtatsminda Park is Tbilisi’s most popular theme park.

Lunch during the tour can be planned as per guests’ preferences. Once the program is complete, the driver will either drop you in the city or take you back to the hotel. The tour will end around 16:00.

Time at leisure. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Continue the drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers, known for maintaining their distinct colors even after merging. After a brief stop at the Soviet-era "People’s Friendship" viewpoint, you will arrive in Gudauri around 12:30 PM. Gudauri is a mountain ski resort located on the southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains, at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level.
