Sharjah and Ajman Tour
This fascinating tour takes you to the two emirates of Sharjah and Ajman. Sharjah is the cultural metropolis within the United Arab Emirates and the third largest state. Carefully restored old areas are as impressive as the museum or the central souk, which harbours about 500 shops and is directly located at Sharjah’s lagoon. Another famous landmark is the King Faisal Mosque, which is the biggest mosque in Sharjah and was built to honour King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, who was responsible for financing the development of Sharjah before the discovery of oil. The neighbouring City of Ajman is famous for its ship building industry. The magnificent museum, housed in an ancient fort, was once the residence and seat of government of the ruler of Sharjah. This museum gives intriguing insights into lifestyles before the changes brought by the discovery of the oil.

Louvre Museum Visit
Pritzker Prize winning French architect Jean Nouvel has designed a museum-city (Arab medina) under a vast silvery dome. Here you can walk through the promenades overlooking the sea beneath the museum’s 180-metre diameter dome, composed of almost 8,000 unique metal stars set in a complex geometric pattern. When sunlight filters through, it creates a moving ‘rain of light’ beneath the dome, reminiscent of the overlapping palm trees in the UAE’s oases.

Al Ain City Tour

Al Ain City Tour
It is a place that offers life-saving resources in the middle of the desert. As it is blessed with substantial underground water resources; it is also an extremely fertile region, rich in greenery with numerous farms, public parks and important archeological sites. A scenic drive through the desert brings us to our first stop, Al Jahili Fort with its adjoining fortress. Al Jahili Fort has been a cultural focal point of activities associated with philosophy and heritage of Al Ain in the Garden City. The fort offers a good insight into the Bedouin lifestyle and local culture. It also has exhibits from the 5,000-year-old Mesopotamian burial site located nearby, called the Hili Graves. Just a few minutes away from this historical site, date gardens are being watered by the 2,000-year-old falaj irrigation system. We continue our journey to the Al Ain Palace Museum, which was the residence of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan, the late ruler of the United Arab Emirates from 1927 until the early 1970’s. Our next destination is the colorful camel market, which is the biggest in the region. From here we head to the apex of the 1,300-metre Jebel Hafeet - Hafeet
- which provides breathtaking views of the extensive desert below. Here you have the opportunity to take photographs before we have lunch in the Mercure Hotel right at the peak of the mountain.

After a challenging ride across the desert, you reach our traditional Arabic camp, where a BBQ dinner is served in a torch-lit ambience giving for the bewitching belly dancer, who performs to rhythm of the captivating Arabic music under a galaxy of stars. As you relax on comfortable cushions in “Bedouin” tents and quench your thirst, you have your hands painted with intricate henna designs.
