Azerbaijan - A country of contrasts

Firstly, Azerbaijan is a country of contrasts. On the one hand, it has modern cities like Baku, with its skyscrapers and high-end shopping malls, while on the other hand, it has preserved its traditional way of life in the countryside. If you're interested in exploring a blend of modernity and history, let us book you the best Azerbaijan holiday packages from Dubai for you.

Melting pot of cultures
One of the main reasons to visit Azerbaijan is to experience its vibrant culture. The country has a rich history dating back thousands of years and has been influenced by various civilizations such as the Persians, the Ottomans, and the Russians. As a result, Azerbaijan has a unique cultural identity that is reflected in its cuisine, music, dance, and art.

Azerbaijani cuisine is a must-try, with its signature dishes like plov (a rice dish), dolma (stuffed vegetables), and kebab. If you're a fan of music, you'll love Azerbaijan's traditional music, which has been recognized as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

And if you're a lover of art, be sure to visit the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, which houses some of the country's most impressive contemporary art collections.

Meet nature at its best
Another reason to visit Azerbaijan is its stunning natural beauty. The country is blessed with a diverse landscape that includes the Caucasus Mountains, the Caspian Sea, and the Gobustan National Park, where you can see ancient petroglyphs.

If you're an adventure enthusiast, Azerbaijan offers many opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and water sports. Additionally, the country's hot springs and mud volcanoes provide a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.

Explore the history
If you're a history buff, Azerbaijan has a lot to offer. The country has a rich history that dates back to ancient times, and many historical sites have been preserved to this day. The Old City of Baku is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to many historical monuments like the Maiden Tower, the Palace of Shirvanshahs, and the Juma Mosque.

The city of Ganja, located in western Azerbaijan, has a rich history as the center of the ancient Ganja state and is home to many historical landmarks like the Imamzadeh Mausoleum and the Ganja Gate and can be the highlight of your trip through our Azerbaijan holiday packages from Dubai.

A shopping haven
Finally, Azerbaijan is a great destination for shopping enthusiasts. The country has a thriving retail industry, with many shopping malls and markets selling everything from traditional handicrafts to high-end luxury brands.

The Park Bulvar Mall in Baku is one of the largest shopping malls in the country and has a wide range of international brands. For a more traditional shopping experience, visit the Taza Bazaar in Baku, where you can find authentic Azerbaijani handicrafts like carpets, ceramics, and jewelry.

Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of the Indian population in the area. The natural "Eternal flame" went out in 1969, after nearly a century of exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area, but is now lit by gas piped from the nearby city
Trip to "Fire mountain "-"Yanardag" -a mountain on Absheron peninsula , 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word "Yanardag" means "Blazing Mountain".
